On November 5, 2025, at 1:10 p.m., the federal police in Sohland on the Spree stopped a 47-year-old driver who was traveling from the Czech Republic in an uninsured VW Golf. The German driver had not had his vehicle's license plates properly de-stamped.
He now faces serious consequences because he has to answer for driving without insurance. He was also banned from continuing to drive, meaning he was temporarily taken off the road.
