Drunk cyclist with 2.4 per mille stopped in Leipzig!
Last night the police officers from the Leipzig-Südost district made a spectacular arrest! A 34-year-old drunk cyclist, who was lurching towards the city center on Wurzner Strasse at a dizzying 2.4 per mille, caught the officers' eye. His shaky driving skills attracted immediate attention and the decision to stop him was quickly made.
When the man got off the bike, he fell, but luck was on his side - he was uninjured! A breath alcohol test then confirmed the alarming blood alcohol level, and a blood sample followed immediately. Now the officers are investigating drunk driving - this is another example of risky behavior on our roads!
