A 71-year-old woman from Großbardau was the victim of a brazen fraud on Monday. In a call, she was promised a huge profit of several ten thousand euros. In order to cover alleged transport costs, the caller asked the senior citizen to buy voucher cards worth several hundred euros and to transmit the codes. The unsuspecting woman followed the instructions and left the codes of the unknown fraud.

Fortunately, your bank pointed her to the fraud a little later. The police immediately initiated investigations and warns: Be careful with unexpected promise of winnings on the phone! Serious companies never request payments or voucher codes for profits. Play it safe - do not give a personal data prize and end the conversation if something seems suspicious. Inform the authorities immediately!
