Drivers without a license and insurance: Police sound the alarm!

In a spectacular check on October 29, 2025 at 10:30 p.m. in Großschönau, the Federal Police and the Czech Police stopped a 38-year-old Slovakian who was driving his Ford Mondeo without a driver's license and without valid liability insurance. The inspectors immediately stopped him from continuing his journey and initiated an investigation. The man had to return to his home on foot after being warned urgently that he was not allowed to drive the uninsured vehicle.

But the drama never took a break! Just a few minutes later, officers returned to the checkpoint and found the Slovakian again - this time on the phone, instructing a friend to pick up his car. Again the police warned him urgently, but when they finally returned a third time, the Ford was gone! The Slovakian, who lives in the Czech Republic, now has to answer for a repeat offense - a gripping case that shows that the law is no joke!
