Aggressive Libyans cause chaos in Bischofswerda and Bautzen!

The federal and state police in Bischofswerda and Bautzen experienced a chaotic weekend when a 47-year-old Libyan man caused police intervention three times. On the evening of September 20, 2025, he harassed passengers on a train and spat. Despite being sent off by the train staff, the police were initially unable to track him down. But shortly afterwards he was aggressively arrested for maliciously damaging a parked vehicle and ended up in the sobering up cell.

The next morning, at 5:55 a.m., the man appeared again at Bischofswerda train station and blocked the departure of a train. Again without money or a ticket, he wanted to travel to Dresden, but had to leave the means of transport. He was finally arrested at 11:00 a.m. for further harassment on a regional bus before ending up in police custody again. A breath alcohol test showed an alarming level of 2.48 per mille. A real fiasco for the law enforcement officers that put order in the streets to the test!
