The 28-year-old Polish woman and a 20-year-old Georgian were also taken away in handcuffs during the check!
Saturday brought further arrests: a 30-year-old Latvian and two 42-year-old Poles were stopped while crossing the border. They were transferred immediately, while two other travelers were allowed to continue their journey without any problems due to cleared liabilities totaling over 4,000 euros. Another 32-year-old Pole was also arrested, but was able to continue his journey after paying 825 euros to pay off fines. The last active case involved a 33-year-old Pole who was wanted on an arrest warrant for theft. After paying 957.75 euros, he was released again.
