Kulow Kids triumph at KnappenMan: Gold for the youngest!
An exciting highlight for the young athletes of the Kulow Kids: On September 1, 2025, the KnappenMan sporting event took place in the picturesque Dreiweiberner See. This event is one of the renowned Sparkasse Challenge competitions and was very popular. The Kulow Kids, led by the talented Lucy Modsching, Luis Krahl and Thadeus Paschke, once again showed their skills and secured first place in the junior/student category.
The young athletes completed the demanding disciplines with an impressive time of 25 minutes and 3 seconds (0:25:03). They first had to swim 200 meters in the clear water of Lake Dreiweibern, then cycle 5 kilometers and finally run 1 kilometer. Their achievements are proof of the excellent level of training and team spirit of these young athletes, who had prepared intensively for this competition in advance.
Reliability and professionalism in triathlon
The fact that the KnappenMan became an experience for everyone involved is not only thanks to the sporting achievements, but also to the professional organization by Baer-Service. The company has been known for its reliable timekeeping since the first collaboration at the DRESDEN MARATHON in 2022 after the Corona break. Organizers praise the uncomplicated and smooth cooperation, which resulted in positive feedback for the organization and running of the competitions.
The employees of Baer-Service are characterized not only by their sporting ambition, but also by their precise work and passion for the sport of triathlon. A new technical model of timekeeping ensures that times are recorded accurately and reliably. Even in turbulent moments, the team always keeps a cool head and ensures that everything runs smoothly, which is very much appreciated by everyone.
The fascination of triathlon
Since its beginnings in San Diego in 1974, triathlon has become a sport with a growing fan base. Around 600 triathlon events take place in Germany every year, with more than 1,500 competitions taking place. The popularity of triathlon increased in the 1980s, particularly through television broadcasts of the Ironman® Hawaii. Today this sport is also supported by the German Triathlon Union (DTU), which was founded in 1985.
Triathletes like Jan Frodeno, who won Olympic gold in Beijing in 2008, have further popularized the sport in Germany through their successes. With participation numbers increasing from 90,000 in 2003 to an impressive 270,000 in 2016, we can't wait to see how triathlon continues to develop.
For the Kulow Kids and all other athletes, one thing is certain: KnappenMan was not just a competition, but also a celebration of sport and community. Congratulations to all participants!
