Summer vacation 2025: Exciting experiences for kids in Leipzig!

In the summer of 2025, families in Leipzig expects a varied holiday program that offers both creative and educational activities. The city historical Museum Leipzig has prepared numerous events for children, adolescents and adults for the months of July and August, who all promise great fun.

One of the central locations is the Schillergarten of the Schillerhaus, where small artists can live out their creativity when designing silhouette cuts. In addition, the popular "Lime time" takes place here, in which children can discover herbs and mix their own lemonade.

Another attraction is the Battle monument, where workshops are offered in which secret writings from 1813 can be deciphered. Family tours are also part of the program. radio workshops for young people

In particular, young people can look forward to the radio workshop "90s Flashback - Leipzig on Air" in the Böttchäßchen house. This workshop is intended for 12 to 18 year olds and takes place from August 4th to 6th. Here the participating interviews can lead and produce their own radio show. The costs are € 10 with a holiday pass and 15 € without, but registration is necessary.
