On May 29, 2025, the Krostitzer Brewery will celebrate an “Ascension Party for Men” and invites all beer lovers to an unforgettable day. Between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., a varied program awaits visitors that leaves nothing to be desired. The day begins with the tapping of the barrel, followed by the performances of a double by Andreas Gabalier, and the original Krostitzer fashion show at 12:15 p.m. The band “These Guys” will provide musical entertainment from 1 p.m. Guests can enjoy the afternoon with live music, a family program and a presenter, Roman Knoblauch, who will lead through the event. The event is complemented by the opportunity to taste fresh Ur-Krostitzer beer and culinary specialties from the brewery's restaurateurs. Admission to the event is free, but please note that the brewery will be closed to regular tours on Men's Day. However, those interested have the option to take part in a brewery tour with tasting at a later date, which lasts around 1.5 hours.

During the tour, which is offered daily, participants can enjoy freshly tapped Ur-Krostitzer Pilsner and experience how the beer is brewed on site. These tours are available for groups of 12 people or more or can be booked for a flat rate of 180 euros for smaller groups. Individuals have the option to join other groups. The tours last around 1.5 hours and cost 15 euros per person. Prior registration is required - either by phone on 034295 77 648 or by email.

In addition to the regular tours, collective tours may also take place, even if the minimum number of participants is not reached. It is important that sturdy shoes are required and that drunk people can be denied entry. The brewery also offers vouchers for tours, which can be sent via email info@ur-krostitzer.de can be requested. These vouchers are valid for one person and allow you to visit on any date.

The Ascension Party and the brewery tours are part of a broader offering at the Krostitzer Brewery, which offers various events and offers. If you are interested in a beer tasting, you can also do this at Cliff’s Brauwerk Leipzig. Reservations via vouchers are required here and tours are available on specific dates until September 2025.
