TV Rehlingen shines with top performance at the German gymnastics festival in Leipzig!

The gymnasts presented an impressive choreography to tangom music and used five tires as handmates. Her performance was noticed by an error -free and stable exercise in the final, which showed a clear increase in her performance. This challenge was further difficult by the parallel competition areas, but the group mastered this situation with flying colors. Trainer Galina Ellert, who optimized the choreography throughout the season, and the support of the successful sports athlete Michelle Lesch, multiple German champion, made a significant contribution to success.

The gymnastics festival also included numerous other competition sports in the field of gymnastics and dance. According to the German Turner-Bund, there are different categories. These range from competitions with compulsory exercises (P) to freely designable short exercises (K). In the compulsory exercises, regulations must be observed, such as the use of uniform music and given space paths. The K levels, on the other hand, allow the participants more freedom in choreography if certain compulsory elements are installed.

Another exciting area is gymnastics and dance, in which groups present their skills in choreographies with handwear and dances. These appearances take place at the German championships, the gymnastics cup or as part of group competitions.

The TV Rehlingen therefore also invites girls from around five years of age to trial training units in the club in order to enable early funding in the field of gymnastics and dance. There is great interest in these sports, which is not least due to the high number of participants and spectators at the gymnastics festival. The diversity and team spirit that can be felt at such events may be the best arguments to pass on the fascination for gymnastics and dance.
