Jamie Hayter, the former AEW Women’s World Champion, was injured at the “Double or Nothing” event. This injury greatly impacted not only her career, but also the buildup to AEW's biggest show of the year, All In Texas. How Wrestling Inc. Reportedly, AEW President Tony Khan expressed that Hayter's injury affected various storylines leading up to the show.
Hayter was supposed to start a feud with the talented wrestler Thekla. Hayter attacked this on an episode of “Dynamite” on May 28th after Hayter lost to TBS Champion Mercedes Mone in the Owen Hart Foundation tournament. Unfortunately, Hayter has not been back in the ring since then and is currently not cleared for fights.

AEW's creative department was initially tight-lipped about plans for Thekla's debut EWrestling News confirmed. The original plan was for Thekla to make her first appearance while Hayter could attend and then be removed from the action. This should provide an exciting foundation for the upcoming feud.
