A serious accident occurred on Wednesday, June 19, 2025, at the intersection with the B190 in Seehausen when a truck driver ran a red light. The truck was driving on the B189 from the direction of Osterburg and collided with a Seat that was being driven by the 26-year-old driver from the direction of Arendsee towards Seehausen. The impact was so severe that the Seat then collided with the guard rail and was no longer able to drive.
The 26-year-old driver and her passenger were seriously injured in the accident and had to be taken to hospital immediately.
