The MX-WEKEND in Oberndorf, organized by the ECC Schönau, was very well received on July 31, 2025 despite the challenging weather conditions. On Saturday, the first day, numerous motocross runs and the special enduro race took place, in which 20 participants tackled the route. Anatol Hofer, a local hero, retired in the group phase of the special enduro race before celebrating his big comeback on Sunday and won the first enduro day in the Waldviertel Motocross Cup. Daniel Hennerbichler secured the club championship title on Saturday, while Benjamin Reif took second place. Over 30 drivers competed at the ECC club championship, which also took place on Saturday. Another highlight of the event was the country victory that the Lower Austria team won against Upper Austria.
