Development of the star: Children's forest run championship inspires 700 spectators!

Schönau, Deutschland - On July 15, 2025, the forest run championship of SC Anger took place, in which over 200 children took part. The event attracted around 700 spectators, including Mayor Markus Winkler and the SCA overall board member Max Stadler. The weather conditions were surprisingly good: despite the initial bad forecasts, it remained dry and sunny all day.

The participation of the TSV Berchtesgaden, which with 30 children provided the most of the starter of an external association, was particularly impressive. The SC Ainring competed with 20 young people, while the athletes of SV Surberg under the direction of coach Florian Holzinger won the most podium and won a total of six medals.

outstanding services

Xaver Holzinger won the day's victory with the boys with an excellent time of 3:21 minutes. The girls also offered exciting competitions; Magdalena Irlinger from SG Schönau achieved the best time. Alisa Ortner and Nepomuk Pickl were celebrated as the new club master of SC Anger.

The event included different age groups. The 43 dwarfs (born in 2020 and younger) completed a distance of 380 meters, while students E (born in 2019/18) and D (born 2017/16) ran two rounds. The school classes C (2015/14), B (2013/12) and A (2011/10) completed three rounds.

The event was organized by Susi Schlosser and Sissi Angerer, while Wolfgang Klinger acted as a moderator. Sebastian Kimmeringer and Franz Baum took over the time measurement, and the catering team around Maria Koch-Ortner took care of the physical well-being of the visitors.

The award ceremony was led by Steffi Koch-Klinger, and every participating child received a medal, a certificate and a drink, a sausage smell and a material prize. It was an unforgettable experience for the children. Further events of the SC Anger have already been determined: a triathlon will take place on July 26th, followed by the 32nd Lois Doff Memorial relay on September 19.
