Alpine huts are urgently looking for: Your chance of a dream job!

On July 9, 2025, numerous Alpen huts are looking for additional forces to successfully master the upcoming seasons. The German Alpine Association (DAV) and the Austrian Alpine Association (ÖAV) have advertised a wide range of open spots for chefs, temporary help and service staff. This demand is an indication of the growing popularity of the alpine regions, which after difficult years full of challenges are now looking forward to successful tourism.

For the huts in the Alps, all -rounders are needed, especially for the following locations:

• Knorrhütte-Wetterstein Mountains, Garmisch-Partenkirchen (now)
• Biberacher Hütte - Bregenzerwald, Sunday in Vorarlberg (from now on)
• Memminger Hütte - Lechtaler Alpen, Zams in Tyrol (for summer season 2025)
• Hallerangerhaus - Karwendel, Absam in Tyrol (for summer season 2025)
• Wildseeloderhaus - Kitzbühler Alpen, Fieberbrunn in Tyrol (from now on)
• Erlanger Hütte - Ötztaler Alpen, Umhausen in Tyrol (from August or by appointment)
• Lenggrieser Hütte - Bavarian Prealps, Lenggries (for summer season 2025)
• Stüdlhütte - Glockner Group, Kals am Großglockner in Tyrol (for summer season 2025)
• Taubensteinhaus - Mangfall Mountains, Bavarian cell (preferably for complete season)
• Riffelseehütte - Ötztaler Alpen, St. Leonhard in Tyrol (for summer season 2025)
• Kärlingerhaus - Alpennational Park Berchtesgaden, Schönau am Königssee
• Anton-Karg-Haus-Kaisertal, Kufstein in Tyrol (now)

secondary activities and specializations

Specific positions are also advertised for the service staff. Among other things, help is sought in the Taubensteinhaus in the Mangfall Mountains and the Dortmund hut in the Stubai Alps. The Erfurter Hütte in Tirol has been needing temporary help for a long summer season since mid -May, while the Riffelseehütte also offers a position for the summer of 2025.

kitchen employees are particularly urgently needed. Huts such as the Lenggrieser Hütte, Stüdlhütte, Albert-Link-Hütte and the Kärlingerhaus strive to attend chefs, kitchen aids and confectioners. Other available positions also include places in the Rotwandhaus that have been looking for kitchen staff since July 1st, as well as in the Patschhaus, which is looking for the 2025 summer season.
