On September 15, 2025, there was a strange traffic situation on Prager Straße in Leipzig in the afternoon. At around 4:02 p.m., a car blocked the tracks near the courthouse, which led to a short-term diversion of tram lines 12 and 15. However, the trains were able to run on their usual routes again around 5:00 p.m. after the tracks were opened. In order not to hinder progress, preparatory work on track repairs on Nordplatz should begin from February 24th. The Zoo and Lortzingstrasse stops will not be served during this time.
