Citizens in focus: District conference in St. Lorenz on October 1st!
On October 1, 2025, an important district conference convened by Mayor Jan Lindenau will take place in the St. Lorenz district. The event begins at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Carl-Jacob-Burckhardt High School, located at Ziegelstrasse 38. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Participation is possible for residents and interested parties without prior registration hl-live.de.
The district conference aims to record the needs and suggestions of Lübeck's citizens and to integrate them more closely into administrative action. This helps to address and address important issues and concerns of local residents. A total of nine such conferences take place in Lübeck every year, where citizens have the opportunity to directly contribute their ideas and suggestions and to question administrative actions, explains luebeckmanagement.de.
Conference topics
There are several important topics on the district conference agenda that will be the focus of the discussion:
- Zivil- und Katastrophenschutz
- Neue Jobcenter-App
- Kindertagesbetreuung in St. Lorenz
- Nachbarschaftsbüros – Gemeinwesenarbeit im Quartier
- Energieberatung im Quartier Brolingplatz
- Aktuelles zum Naturerlebnisraum am Strukbach
- Ausbau von E-Ladesäulen
- Bebauungsplanverfahren und städtebauliche Maßnahmen
In order to actively participate in the conference, question cards will be available on which citizens can write down their concerns. All questions collected will be answered in writing after the event, and the documentation will then be published online. Citizens can therefore be sure that their concerns will be heard and taken seriously.
Another date has already been set: the next district conference will take place on December 10, 2025 in the St. Gertrud district. These regular meetings offer the citizens of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck a valuable platform to actively participate in municipal development and improve their local quality of life.
