Fynn Seidel: Finally in Leipzig! A fresh start in the Alfred-Kunze-Sportpark

Leutzsch, Deutschland - Fynn Seidel, a 21-year-old football player from Chemnitz, has joined the BSG Chemie Leipzig and is therefore the third new addition to the club. He signed a contract for one year and will strengthen the offensive midfield. The player, who has hardly had the opportunity to play in front of big backdrops in his career, will make his debut in the Alfred-Kunze sports park on Sunday. There the team meets SG Union Sandersdorf. Seidel is looking forward to this game: "I've never played in Leipzig-Leutzsch," he explains in an interview with lvz.de.

Seidel, who spent his youth at Chemnitzer FC and SpVgg Unterhaching, has had a moving career. In 2021 he made his debut at the age of 16 as the youngest player in third division history. In the following years he completed various stations, including at SV Meppen, where he became vice-relay champion and Lower Saxony State Cup winner in 2023. He scored a total of 13 scorer points (4 goals, 9 templates) in 19 league games, even if a four -month injury break was added to him because of a cruciate ligament tear.

After a short intermezzo at Chemnitz FC in the second half of the season last season, where he scored three goals, he now decided to move to Chemie Leipzig. Here he will work on his career under Alipour, a trainer that he appreciates very much. "He is supportive, but also praises when something is wrong," says Seidel about Alipour.
