25 years of Diablos Leutzsch: Spectacular pyro show in the Alfred Kunze Stadium!

On September 20, 2025, the Diablos Leutzsch celebrated their 25th anniversary in the Alfred Kunze Sports Park with impressive choreography and an exciting pyro show. BSG Chemie Leipzig met BFC Dynamo in the home game. This event not only marked an anniversary, but also the Chemists' first win of the season. The two goals scored in the second half were a bright spot after a difficult start with just one win in the first eight games of the season. Faszination Fankurve reports that the Diablos Leutzsch, founded in 2000, can not only look back on a long history with their anniversary but also on how they revived the atmosphere in the stadium.

Originally founded as a fan club, the Diablos struggled with various challenges in their early years. According to Diablos Leutzsch, the first few years were characterized by sporadic singing, few choreographies and a limited number of young fans. Nevertheless, the members of the group were able to make a lot of progress and today bring together thousands of chemistry fans who celebrate and sing together in the so-called Leutzscher Hölle, the Alfred Kunze Sports Park.

Anniversary celebrations

The anniversary celebrations not only include the home game against BFC Dynamo, but other events are also planned. An additional ceremony will take place next Sunday against the FCM. The entrance fee for the anniversary celebrations is set at 15 euros. This shows the Diablos' pride in their achievements and the ambitions they have for the future - including the ambition to further consolidate the Norddamm as the heart of BSG Chemie Leipzig.

The atmosphere in the stadium during the celebrations was characterized by a mixture of festive spirit and sporting ambition. Before the restart, a large foil banner with the words “DIABLOS” was raised, while the spectators expressed their joy with rockets, Bengals and Breslau fires. The BFC fans, who arrived late in the visitors' block due to a traffic jam, also contributed to the electrifying atmosphere by also setting off pyrotechnics.

The BSG Chemie home page reported that the stadium was sold out for the fifth time in a row. Due to official regulations, a maximum of 4,999 spectators are currently permitted in the Alfred Kunze Sports Park. This presence underlines the strong commitment of the fans and the importance of the game in the context of the celebrations.

Overall, the 25th anniversary of the Diablos Leutzsch is not only a look back at the past, but also a look forward to the future of the BSG Chemie Leipzig fan scene. The North Dam, as a symbol of cohesion and fan culture, remains a central place of celebration and support for the team.
