In the district of Nienburg, the citizens are expecting a varied event program this weekend. On July 19 and 20, the popular open-air festival "Rock das Ding" will take place in Balge/Holzbalge. Organizer Frank Juschkat has put together a varied line-up of 13 bands that will convince with various music styles from Metal to rock to punk. The gates open on Friday from 4 p.m. and the first band will inspire the audience at 6 p.m. On both days, the square is also secured with an extensive security concept, developed by Sven-Arne Wehrmann.
During the festival, visitors can look forward to a family atmosphere with tent options, power connections and a constant water pipe. Breakfast bags with fresh coffee and rolls are offered for campers. The highlights of the event include international bands such as Doctor Victor from the Czech Republic and Krashkarma from the USA, as well as the German rock band Axxis, which will start their farewell tour after 35 years. The weekend offers many other events. Among other things, the pop-up children's experience world takes place in the Quaet-Faslem house, which is open to children up to 12 years until August 13th.
