District duel in focus: Lüntorf/Holzhausen scores first point!

In an exciting and emotional district duel, SG Lüntorf/Holzhausen scored their first point of the season. In a game that had both highs and lows, they faced the Hummetal team on October 14, 2025. Coach Marvin Taschen expressed satisfaction with his players' performance after the game.

Chantal Meier gave Lüntorfer the early lead in the 14th minute when she made it 1-0. But the equalizer didn't take long to arrive: Darleen Bode scored for Hummetal in the 24th minute. Shortly before half-time, Simone Sommer found her way into the goal again in stoppage time of 45 +2 minutes and gave Lüntorf/Holzhausen a 2-1 lead. However, the first half didn't go to Hummetal coach Alexander Zenker's liking.

Tension until the last minute

In the second half, however, Hummetal showed a significant improvement in performance and was able to equalize 2-2 through Melina Pape in the 61st minute. Both teams still had opportunities to win the game in stoppage time. Particularly noteworthy is the performance of Lüntorf/Holzhausen keeper Stefanie Banach, who saved several important balls. For Hummetal, Zenker particularly praised Simira-Rebecca Peters for her strong defensive work, while Taschen highlighted Emma Meier's performance in central defense.

It was an important step for Lüntorf/Holzhausen to stabilize themselves after a defeat. Their next game will be next Saturday at 6:00 p.m. against TSV Nettelrede. This team also hasn't scored a point yet and is looking for its first win. With 21 goals conceded, TSV Nettelrede has the worst defense in the Hameln-Pyrmont/Schaumburg Season A district league, while Lüntorf/Holzhausen conceded 18 goals. A duel that promises a lot of excitement and the signs point to a meeting on equal terms.

More results from the league

In other league games, SG Reher/Barntrup impressively beat FSG Pollhagen-Nordsehl/Lauenhagen/Wiedensahl 6-2. Coach Frank Lindert noted that the first half was not ideal, despite his team taking the lead twice only to have to accept the 1-1 draw on each occasion. In the second half, however, Reher/Barntrup was dominant and scored four goals for a confident victory. Rabea Simon scored twice, while Chiara Haas and Sandra Hübner also contributed goals.

The table therefore already shows interesting developments, even in the early phase of the season. Lüntorf/Holzhausen hopes to carry the momentum from the draw against Hummetal into the next game.
