Captain Kurz leaves TSG Balingen: upheaval in the wolf rudel!

Holzhausen, Deutschland - The captain of the Balinger U23, Jonas Kurz , fails after a serious knee injury and is now looking for a new challenge. In August he was seriously injured in the game against TSG Tübingen and had to watch the relegation battle from the sidelines because of a cruciate ligament tear. Briefly plans to get back into training next week, depending on the reaction of his knee. In view of his current state of health, however, it is not to be expected that he will be on the pitch this season. He still has great confidence in his team: "I believe that we can create a surprise against the league leader," he said optimistically. In the first half of the season, the team collected ten points against the top teams, which briefly gives hope that there are still opportunities for success.

TSG Balingen U23 missed the promotion to the top division last season. A relegation slide against Türk SV Singen sealed fate. Trainer Philipp Wolf is now facing the challenge of redesigning the squad for the coming season in the Landesliga. Wolf is currently working on dealing with the past season, in which he realized that a decisive goal was missing to keep the class. Positive feedback from opponents on playing and the age structure, which is on average just 20 years, gives him courage for the future.

Rochades and squad changes

Six players leave TSG Balingen 2. Among them are:

  • Fabian Zirkel , who switches to SV Dotternhausen.
  • Viktor Farkas , who joins FC 07 Albstadt.
  • Jannik Kübler , who switches to Villinger U23.
  • David Sauter who competes and goes abroad.
  • Luis Sinz , whose new goal has so far been unknown.

The trainer currently has no external newcomers, but plans to integrate four players from the U19 into the first team and to sign two to three external new additions. The first athletic units are scheduled for the coming week, and a benefit game in Salmendingen is also organized. The official start of preparation is on July 8th.

Wolf emphasizes that the team is well equipped, even if possible players in the upper area. The focus is on the development of young talents to successfully master the challenges of the new season in the Landesliga. The roster situation promises a lot of tension and new impulses for the coming season.
