Police are looking for brutal thugs: Bloody hands and dark secrets!

The investigation into two serious criminal cases is in full swing in Leipzig. While the police are searching for a suspected thug, the discovery of a body near the main train station has put the criminal police on alert.

On January 19th, a 30-year-old man was attacked and seriously injured by four unknown perpetrators on Plovdiver Street in Grünau-Nord at around 5:25 a.m. He had to be taken to a hospital. The police have so far no further information about the other suspects. The wanted perpetrator is described as a man, probably aged 35 to 45, with short, dark hair. His bloody hands and dirty jacket with orange zippers are particularly noticeable. The investigators now hope that witnesses can provide information about the suspect they are looking for or the other perpetrators. Information can be reported to the Leipzig-Zentrum police station on 0341 / 966-34299, as Radio Leipzig reports.

At the same time, the Leipzig criminal police are investigating the tragic discovery of a body in a container that was used as a dwelling. The body was discovered several days ago. According to MDR, the public prosecutor's office assumes a violent crime, but does not provide any precise information in order not to endanger the investigation. Forensic investigators were on duty on Friday on behalf of the public prosecutor's office to further investigate the case. How the man died is currently unclear. Prosecutors plan to release more information about the case next week.
