A central reason for the flights to Debrecen was the new BMW location in the Hungarian city, which specializes in the production of electric cars. However, Universal Air was able to carry out fewer than 20 starts and landings at Leipzig/Halle Airport in the few weeks in which she served. From June 2025, DeBRECEN will no longer be flown from Leipzig/Halle Airport.
