Michael Kretschmer, the Saxon Prime Minister, describes the DHL turntop as a real success story. Thanks to the support of the Saxon state government, the airport was able to develop into one of the most important air freight centers worldwide in just 16 years. The extended partnership not only ensures Saxony's international competitiveness, but is also a key impulse for an important logistics cluster in the region.
