Serious accident in Markranstädt: 17-year-old without a helmet and driver's license injured

A dramatic traffic accident occurred on Sunday evening on Leipziger Strasse in Markranstädt when a 17-year-old was seriously injured with a not approved KTM. The young person tried to overtake a car in front, ran a traffic island, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a parked van. As a result, he fell and slipped against another car.

rescue workers immediately took the seriously injured teenager to the hospital. The police had to completely block Leipziger Strasse during the accident. During the investigation, it turned out that the driver had no valid driving license and drove without a helmet. The property damage incurred amounts to several thousand euros. The police have now investigated driving without a driver's license and a violation of the compulsory insurance law.
