A 54-year-old driver was the cause of a dramatic accident on Frankenberger Straße in the afternoon. After making a U-turn, she collided with a 46-year-old cyclist who was traveling in oncoming traffic. The impact was violent! The cyclist fell and sustained serious injuries. The emergency doctor and rescue workers rushed to the scene of the accident and, after providing him with first aid, immediately took him to the hospital.
The collision caused total damage of around 2,200 euros to both vehicles. The police are continuing to investigate the exact circumstances of the incident.
