In a shocking discovery at the Breitenau border crossing, a Czech van caused a stir. On the night of December 6, 2025, during a routine check, federal police officers not only found the occupants with valid documents, but also a cargo hold full to the brim with dangerous pyrotechnics. In total, the officials secured an impressive 112 kilograms of pyrotechnics in categories F2-F4.
But that wasn't all! During the search, the police also found 120,000 untaxed cigarettes from Vietnam. The explosive cargo led to the entire case being handed over to the Dresden customs investigation office, where further processing is now taking place. An exciting evening that didn't promise any boredom for the border officials!
