On Saturday morning, a 37-year-old was the victim of a brutal robbery on a tram on line 7. After a short conversation with two men, they got off at the Emmaustraße stop, where the perpetrator suddenly demanded money from his victim and used an irritant spray device. In a scuffle, he snatched the victim's shoulder bag, which contained several hundred euros in cash and personal items. The 37-year-old was slightly injured and had to be taken to hospital.
The criminal police have started an investigation into aggravated robbery and are now urgently looking for witnesses. The fugitive attacker is described as around 30 years old, athletic and between 1.80 and 1.85 meters tall. He had shaved sides and black, slightly curly hair. His outfit was striking, consisting of a dark T-shirt, short, light-colored shorts and light-colored sneakers with socks over his ankles.
