A 20-year-old van driver was slightly injured in a dramatic accident on Thursday afternoon. The driver was on the road from Dorfhain towards Klingenberg when an unknown motorcyclist suddenly drove into oncoming traffic. To avoid a collision, the young man sped his Ford Transit and crashed into a tree, causing the vehicle to overturn.
The motorcyclist continued his journey undeterred, while the damage to the van is estimated at around 15,000 euros. The police have already launched an investigation into the hit-and-run and are asking witnesses to the incident for information.
