On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, a man caused a stir at the main train station when he hit the floor wildly with a hammer-like object. DB service employees noticed what was going on and immediately alerted the federal police. There the officers met a 37-year-old German who was carrying a backpack. The handle of an outdoor hammer protruded from it.
When the backpack was checked, four sharp kitchen knives with a blade length of 12.5 cm each were discovered. After a comprehensive check, the man was finally released from the office. The incident raises questions, but the incident ended without any major incidents.
