Kitchen fire in Leipzig: Two residents taken to hospital because of smoke gas.
On Thursday night, a fire broke out in an apartment in Leipzig's center-northwest! The fire was caused by a technical defect in an electronic device in the kitchen and caused massive smoke to develop. The fire department had to intervene quickly because two women, aged 44 and 73, inhaled smoke gases and had to be taken to hospital immediately.
The kitchen is heavily sooted, but the rest of the apartment is still habitable. There is currently no information about the total property damage caused. The fire department has the situation under control, but the situation remains tense!
