On October 8, 2025, at 1:55 p.m., a federal police patrol stopped a Kia X-Ceed without license plates on Federal Highway 6 near Bautzen. The 35-year-old driver from Germany explained that her husband had the plates and vehicle registration in the car and she was only making a short trip.
An inspection revealed that the car was properly registered and insured. Despite these circumstances, the woman had to pay a fine of 60 euros. The responsible fine office will be informed.
