Junge forgets suitcases on the train - federal police saves school trip!
On September 19, 2025, around 12:30 p.m., the federal police at the Seitschen train stop became aware of a 10-year-old boy who was alone and sad on a bench. The student, who was on a school trip from Görlitz to Bautzen, had forgotten his suitcase on the train while getting out. In the predicament that his train towards Dresden had already left and he had to hand over his cell phone, he could not inform anyone about his mishap.
The attentive officers of the federal police acted quickly. They called the boy's mother and made sure that he was safely brought to Bautzen. With the support of the federal police, the boy was able to quickly return to his family and hopefully enjoy an undisturbed and happy class trip!
