Boy forgets his suitcase on the train – Federal police save school trip!

On September 19, 2025, around 12:30 p.m., the federal police became aware of a 10-year-old boy sitting alone and sad on a bench at the Seitschen train stop. The student, who was on a school trip from Görlitz to Bautzen, had forgotten his suitcase on the train when he got off. In the unfortunate situation that his train to Dresden had already left and he had to hand over his cell phone, he was unable to inform anyone about his mishap.

The alert federal police officers acted quickly. They called the boy's mother and made sure he was brought safely to Bautzen. With the support of the Federal Police, the boy was able to quickly return to his family and hopefully enjoy an undisturbed and happy school trip!
