In the early morning of September 23, 2025, the federal police discovered large graffiti adorning the privacy fence at the train stop in Neukirch / Lausitz. At 2:45 a.m. it was discovered that unknown perpetrators had already sprayed a 20 square meter area with black paint on July 18, 2025. Yellow and white symbols as well as football-related lettering can now also be seen on the fence. The estimated material damage is around 2,000 euros. The federal police have started investigating property damage and are looking for further clues.
