Early in the morning, a Polish car with four people was stopped at the border crossing in Podrosche by federal police forces. When checking the personal details, the officers discovered that both the driver (45) and the passenger (30) had wanted notices. The driver's ID card was put up for confiscation, while the passenger was under investigation because he was wanted in connection with serious burglaries and thefts.
During the check, officers found a knife and another suspicious object. The owners of these items are now being investigated for violations of the Weapons Act. The investigation is continuing while the federal police clarify the background to the search.
