At the border crossing in Bad Muskau, federal police arrested a Ukrainian citizen who had been wanted by the Berlin public prosecutor's office since April. The 38-year-old was sentenced to a fine of 390 euros for theft, which he has now paid. Together with the procedural costs of 155 euros, the case is legally closed, which no longer stood in the way of his entry into Germany. The arrest took place shortly before midnight when the handcuffs clicked and the man was taken into custody.
