Driver without license: Federal police stop two drivers in the border triangle
In a dramatic twist, the federal police caught two drivers in the border triangle between Poland and the Czech Republic who were driving without a valid driver's license. On December 4, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., officers from the Upper Lusatia Joint Task Force stopped a 58-year-old Czech man in Zittau whose driver's license had already been confiscated by the authorities.
Another incident occurred on December 5th at 3:10 a.m. in Neugersdorf, where another driver without a license was checked. The state police have opened an investigation into both cases of driving without a license.
