Drugs from Trinidad in Zittau arrested - police strike!

On June 16, 2025, the federal police in Zittau carried out reinforced border controls and stopped a cross -border coach. Among the passengers was a 37-year-old man from Trinidad and Tobago, who quickly got targeted by the officials. When checking his personal details, it turned out that there was an arrest warrant from the Weiden public prosecutor. The reason? An open fine of 630.50 euros due to an offense according to the Narcotics Act.

The man was immediately arrested and brought to the office. With this measure, the federal police set a strong sign against illegal drug trafficking and strengthened security at the border.
