Drug smuggling at the border point: Czechs caught with cannabis and brass knuckles!

On August 15, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., emergency services from the Chemnitz Federal Police Station carried out a check on a vehicle with Czech registration at the border crossing in Reitzenhain. There were three men in the car: a 31-year-old driver and two passengers aged 45 and 57, all Czech citizens.

While searching the vehicle, officers discovered a plastic bag containing cannabis plant residue on the passenger seat. There was a backpack in the trunk filled with various drug paraphernalia, and the police found brass knuckles between the center console and the driver's seat. The case was immediately handed over to the Marienberg police station.
