Federal police stop migrant smuggling at the Görlitz Viaduct!
On Friday, federal police officers made a dramatic arrest in Ludwigsdorf: A total of ten migrants were caught who entered the country illegally on foot via the Görlitz railway viaduct. The first tip came from an attentive witness who discovered and alerted two young Afghans, 22 and 23 years old, around 4 p.m.
Another incident occurred at 6:45 p.m. when a federal police officer noticed two people at the viaduct in his free time. Following his immediate report, two Pakistanis aged 25 and 27 were arrested. The older of the two revealed that they had been taken directly to the bridge by a Polish taxi. The Federal Police continues to ensure security at the borders.
