Armed man arrested at the penny market in Seiffen: 3.4 per mille!

Yesterday evening around 7:00 p.m., a witness reported to the federal police an alarming situation in Seiffen: A man threatened passers-by with a kitchen knife in the parking lot of the Penny Market. The emergency services immediately set off and arrived at the scene. There they found a 57-year-old German with a knife in his hand.

The police asked the man to put down the knife, which he did without resistance. He was temporarily arrested and handed over to the state police. A breath alcohol test carried out showed an incredible level of 3.4 per mille. The criminal prosecution of the incident is now in the hands of the state police.
