Aggressive man in the main train station: Police stop dangerous outbreak
On Monday morning, July 7, 2025, a 22-year-old German caused trouble at Dresden Central Station. The aggressive man verbally attacked travelers, which led passers-by to alert the federal police. When officers arrived, they immediately noticed his nervousness and threatening demeanor. He admitted to carrying a knife in his hoodie and handed it over to the police.
The situation escalated dramatically when the man remained aggressive despite repeated requests to drop a glass bottle and ultimately hit a federal police officer in the face. To calm the situation, the officers brought the attacker to the ground and handcuffed him. During the search, police found a crystalline substance in his underpants. However, the injured policewoman remained fit for duty. An investigation was initiated against the 22-year-old for grievous bodily harm and resisting law enforcement officers.
