Latest specifications for large concerts in the gutter: This is what awaits you!

Things will soon get livelier in Dresden! On August 21, 2025, the city presented a new concept for concert events in the Rinne that ensures that music lovers of all ages get their money's worth. With a well-thought-out framework plan, the event season for concerts should be optimized while at the same time ensuring a safe and pleasant experience for all visitors. How dresden.de reported, clear guidelines were created in collaboration with various offices, institutions and the B-EST office.

A key part of the plan is to differentiate the concerts into three categories based on the expected number of visitors. In the future there will be events for up to 20,000, 40,000 and even 80,000 visitors. The entry takes place centrally within the gutter, while the exit situations vary depending on the size of the event. The largest variant, which attracts up to 80,000 visitors, provides access via the P1/Sportpark Ostra car park, supplemented by the use of all three ramps and additional escape and rescue routes in the direction of Flutrinne-West.

Good music enjoyment with clear rules

But the focus is not just on visitor numbers. The regulations surrounding the implementation of the events are also clearly defined. A maximum of five concerts per season can take place on Fridays, Saturdays or days before holidays. Stricter rules apply to Sunday or weekday concerts: a maximum of four or three concert days per season are possible. Another important element: the concert season ends at 10 p.m. at the latest. In addition, care is taken to ensure that concerts do not take place on two consecutive weekends, which ensures a better distribution of events.

In order to create a pleasant atmosphere for everyone, the stage will be set up in a north-south direction. There are also requirements for compliance with specified sound levels at critical emission locations, such as the sports boarding school. A well-thought-out basic concept ensures that, in addition to event technology, environmental and nature protection, security and medical services as well as the traffic situation are taken into account.

Looking forward to musical highlights

Economic Mayor Jan Pratzka is enthusiastic about the new concept and emphasizes how important it is that the city organizes everything and handles everything safely, even for large events. He is looking forward to a year full of programming, in which numerous events with high numbers of visitors will make the hearts of music lovers beat faster. With this planning, Dresden not only has a good hand, but also opens up new opportunities for culture and community.

In the future, we can look forward to a whole series of exciting concerts where music and safety go hand in hand. So stay tuned and don't miss any news about the upcoming events in the gutter!
