He informed her that almost 10,000 euros had been withdrawn from her account. To get the money back, she should carry out a transaction. This turned out to be a fraud, which made the Leipzig Center police investigations into fraud. The increase in such attempts to fraud through phone calls and messages is striking. The consumer center warns against reacting to such calls, since unexpected invoices often follow that are based on a supposed "yes" that is elicited during the conversation. Consumers should react sensitively to such inquiries and, if necessary, take legal action in order to avert unauthorized claims.

the night before, between 2:30 a.m. and 2:45 a.m., there was a break -in into a petrol station in Schkeuditz. Unknowns gained access and stolen tobacco goods worth several thousand euros. The perpetrators loaded the prey into a van that was provided with stolen license plates. Here, too, the criminal police have started investigations due to a particularly severe case of theft.

in Leipzig-Südvorstadt, a white Seat Alhambra, which was parked on the roadside, was stolen on July 17th. The vehicle, the value of which amounts to over 10,000 euros, was registered as stolen the next morning. Investigations into this case were also initiated.

Another incident occurred on July 17th at 9:15 p.m. in Markranstädt, where a 23-year-old moped driver was injured in a traffic accident. The young man wanted to turn left onto Leipziger Straße and overlooked a vw Amarok, who is entitled to right. Due to his injuries, he had to be treated in a hospital. In this case, the police have also investigated the circumstances of the accident.
