Leipzig celebrates: 13 days full of industrial culture and exciting events!
The 13th edition of the “DAYS OF INDUSTRIE CULTURE” in Leipzig will take place from September 8th to 14th, 2025. At the same time, the 10th “Industry|Culture|Festival” will be held. Both events promise an exciting week full of activities that bring Leipzig's industrial heritage to life. It starts with an opening event at UT Connewitz, followed by a series of events ranging from the screening of occupational safety films to the open monument day in Robert Koch Park. Leipziginfo.de reports that a total of 47 participants from different cities are expected, including 31 from Leipzig, 8 from Wurzen, 2 from Zeitz and 1 each from Altenburg, Borna, Markkleeberg, Neukieritzsch and Schkeuditz.
A central element of the program is the “Open Factory Gate” offer, in which many companies will open their doors to visitors. The new participants include Regionalbus Leipzig GmbH, Leuchten Manufactur Wurzen GmbH and several other companies such as Gecko Two GmbH and Kontron Leipzig GmbH. The Leipzig Trade Fair is celebrating its 860th birthday this year and is offering a digital scavenger hunt on the exhibition grounds.
Diverse program for everyone interested

City guide Sebastian Ringel will offer a special tour of the courtyards and exhibition centers in the city center. On September 10th, the Saxon Economic Archives will be giving a tour of the archive; It is known that a move to Borna is planned in 2026.
