The latter reign lasted 365 days, during which it even ended Mayu Iwatani's 735-day dominance. Her skills have earned her recognition not only in Japan but also internationally, as evidenced by outstanding matches against other stars such as Utami Hayashishita and Mayu Iwatani. SI.com highlights that before her last loss, Syuri successfully defended against Alex Windsor in England at Pro Wrestling EVE.
A new challenge in the USA
In the past, Syuri has also dabbled in MMA and boasts a record of 6-3, including a stint with the UFC. The upcoming trip to the USA not only brings Syuri the opportunity to debut in AEW, but also the chance to compete with other international wrestlers such as ROH Women's World Champion Athena. Interest in a match between the two has already been expressed. These international appearances are part of a growing strategy supported by STARDOM's partnership with AEW.
