In exciting news for the wrestling world, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) CEO Tony Khan has officially confirmed that wrestler Thekla is now part of the AEW roster. This announcement was made on July 19th and marks the end of a 45-day trial period that Thekla had to complete due to a chaotic end to her time with the competition, Stardom. During this time, an incident occurred where she attacked Stardom's president, Taro Okada, which led to her dismissal.
Thekla made her first AEW appearance in late May when she attacked Jamie Hayter. Since then, she has impressed in several matches, most notably taking part in the Women's Casino Gauntlet match at AEW All In: Texas, which was won by Athena. Despite this defeat, Thekla impressively demonstrated her skills on the big stage and fought her way unstoppably into the hearts of the fans.

On the last edition of AEW Dynamite, Thekla took on prominent names such as Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale and Queen Aminata in a four-way match for an impressive $100,000 prize.
