Natural vision Film Festival: The big opening in Ludwigsburg!
The Naturvision Film Festival opened its goals on Wednesday evening at the Central Theater in Ludwigsburg. Under the direction of festival manager Beatrix Wesle, the event will take place until next Sunday and will present a total of around 100 films. The opening film, "Wildes Greenland- Eiswelt in Change", impressively addresses the changing climate conditions in the polar region and sets the sound for the next four days, which are all about natural and environmental documentation.
The festival is one of the largest of its kind in Europe and expects around 18,000 visitors. As part of the international film competition, the best works are awarded in nine different categories. Every year around 300 contributions from all over the world come to sighting, which are available online or in the Central Theater for interested viewers.
diverse program
The festival focus is not only on impressive animal films and landscape reports, but also includes children's films and special events such as the Naturvision Science Slam. This combination makes the festival particularly attractive for families and nature -interested visitors.
A highlight is the free open-air cinema that starts on Friday on Arsenalplatz. Natural and environmental films are shown here and the event is accessible, as is two of the cinemas in the Central Theater. This ensures that a wide audience is given the opportunity to deal with important environmental questions and to gain interesting insights into the world of natural documentation.
For this year, numerous conversations with filmmakers were also planned who offer visitors the opportunity to get deeper insights into the creation of the films. The tickets for the events are available both online and in the Central Theater. Further information can be called up on the Naturvision website.
Overall, the Natural Vision Film Festival promises an exciting and instructive experience for all participants and promotes awareness of important environmental issues that affect all of us.
