20 Years of Stella Maris women's choir: Fixed -day magic in Zöbingen!
Zöbingen, Deutschland - On July 14, 2025, the Stella Maris women's choir celebrated its 20th anniversary in Zöbingen. On this special day, an exciting program was presented that lasted over four hours and took bonds from the popular television show "Wetten dass". Under the moderation of Quizmaster Heike Fischer and Sigrid Lutz, the guests experienced a varied festival.
The Mayor Johannes Joas and the mayor Roland Gloning were available for questions about the role of choir during the celebrations. A highlight was the appearance of several guest choirs who musically enriched the evening. The men's choir community of the Silberdistel Röttingen, the Sängerlust Baldern, the Zöbingen men's choir as well as the de-camino-choir Hohenberg and the women's choir "Emotional Voices" from Unterreiff were represented.
solemn performances and honors
The appearances were conducted by the respective choir leaders, among which Ruth Schmid and Alicia Rupprecht were. The two main actors, the mayor and the mayor, lost some bets and took over the management of the women's choir in a humorous performance. Honors were also made during the celebration: Thekla Schmid received a bouquet of flowers and a wellness voucher, and many singers were honored for their longstanding membership.
Important personalities of the choir, including the first choir director Ingrid Philipp, the chairperson Thekla Schmid and the "choir leader sponsor" Kaspar Grimminger, shared their memories of the past few years in the choir. The current choir director, Daniela Hoffmann, has been leading the choir since 2022 and has thus succeeded Ruth Schmid.
Review and outlook of the choir
To celebrate the anniversary, the Stella Maris women's choir also looked back on a successful year. An important highlight was the autumn festival, which took place in September 2022 under the motto "vacation greetings". Here the singers appeared in Dirndl, which inspired visitors. The event included both Bavarian songs and the "Zöbingerlied" by Helga Lybbe.
The choir has emerged in the community with many activities, including the organization of the annual meeting of the Eugen-Jaekle Gaus in March 2022. On this occasion, Karl Rinn from Unterschneidheim was appointed the new honorary member. A children's project choir, led by Walburga Ott, caused a festive atmosphere at the event.
Secretary Walburga Ott reported on the choir's diverse activities, while cashier Roswitha Ladenburger spoke of a gratifying profit. Thekla Schmidt was elected as chairwoman for another three years, and new volunteer tasks were broadcast to Julia Schmidt, who was elected as secretary, and to the auditor Marianne Kurz and Carolin Bux.
Finally, the women's choir is planning a choir party for its five -year existence for May 2023 and an Advent concert is already being planned for December 2023. With a solid foundation and an active community, Stella Maris Zöbingen is optimistic about the future. The participants combined special moments and memories from twenty years of choir history at the anniversary celebration and made the occasion unforgettable.
